WHO WE ARE
Shekinah Group, LLC (“Shekinah”) is a certified Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (“MWBE”) that was formed on December 18, 2003, by Vaughn and Marnie McKoy, a husband and wife team.

Marnie is a Baltimore Native, an entrepreneur, education administrator and human resources executive with an undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and a master’s and doctorate degree from Seton Hall University.

Vaughn is an entrepreneur and attorney with advanced degrees in law and business from Rutgers University and NYU Stern School of Business.

From 2003 to 2012, Shekinah owned, leased and managed residential real estate in New Jersey and Maryland. Since that time, Shekinah has expanded its portfolio of services: temporary staffing solutions for contractors; construction and related services for commercial and residential customers; project and event management for public and private sector clients; airport and concession operations and management consulting services.

In addition to Marnie and Vaughn, the leadership team includes Andre Yates and Kimberly Harden who together have more than 50 years of relevant business experience. With over 25 years of industry experience working with the various building trades, Andre has worked, managed or supervised commercial and residential construction projects. He holds undergraduate and business degrees from Rutgers University. Kimberly has over 25 years of award-winning expertise and experience in project management and event planning for a diverse group of clients. She earned an associate’s degree in business administration from Stevenson University and was certified in Meeting Planning Management from Goucher College.

Shekinah is a certified DBE, ACDBE and MWBE across the states of New York, New Jersey and Maryland with the ability to serve various public-sector customers.
